October 23 ~ Reading Block 2

Students finished labeling their new notebooks.  This should help with their organization for the next few quarters in reading :)  

Today we began our new unit.  We started with our vocabulary definitions.  

The Marble Champ

2. elementary
3. onlookers
4. glory
5. division
6. congratulated

Homework: Write each vocabulary word in a sentence (remember your sentence must contain at least 7 words).  AR ~ Students should be reading every night for about 20 minutes.

Reminders: CBQM for reading starts tomorrow, get lots of sleep tonight.
